THE COUNTRY BEYOND THE CITY

Released in 2017, our debut album delves into the world of polkas, mazurkas, obereks, waltzes, and foxtrots—once the dominant dance music in Poland and now an unwritten yet fascinating treasure of the Polish countryside. The repertoire draws from the living tradition, learned from the older generation of musicians and singers, and is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Radom, Kielce, and Sanniki regions.
